Enjoyed the communal sauna and outdoor hot tub, felt like a VIP in my own personal spa retreat in the midst of the wilderness. The Northern Lights were a stunning sight to behold from the property, like dancing colors on a canvas. The charming wooden log houses added a cozy touch, making me feel like I was living in a fairy tale cabin.
Uncomfortable bed, felt like I was sleeping on a marshmallow.

My recent stay at Vaattunki Wilderness Resort was amazing! I stayed for a few days and had the best time. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a forest next to a peaceful river. It's only 20 minutes away from Santa's Village, which was a great bonus. The resort offers reindeer sleigh rides and husky sleigh rides right on site, and they were both incredible experiences. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and I loved that they provided me with a full snow suit for the duration of my visit. The Superior Chalet I stayed in was brand new and offered a fantastic view of the forest. It was so warm, comfortable, and had a great shower. The entire atmosphere of the resort, with its rustic log cabin buildings, added to the wilderness experience. The staff were patient and helpful, answering all my questions about available activities and transportation. I would definitely stay here again if I ever travel to Lapland in the future.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Vaattunki Wilderness Resort for a week-long family vacation. The resort's location, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and a river, provided a peaceful and picturesque setting. The cottage we stayed in was well-equipped and comfortable, complete with a sauna and a cozy fireplace. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. We also appreciated the woodshed filled with firewood conveniently located next to our cottage. our experience was perfect and we would definitely return.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

During our stay over Christmas, we had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful snowy scenery. It felt like we were in a winter wonderland straight out of a fairytale. the view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the snowy forest. We also loved the fact that we could start our own fire outside to stay warm and cozy while enjoying the mesmerizing surroundings. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay more enjoyable.
We found that the food choices at the hotel were not great. the only option available was a buffet, which was quite expensive and not of the best quality.

We had an amazing time at the resort nestled in the middle of nature. the peacefulness and beauty of the surroundings were breathtaking. We enjoyed walking and hiking in the area, and having a rental car was a great decision for exploring further. the resort offered activities like husky and reindeer trips, which were conveniently available right from our doorstep. Our riverside apartment even had its own sauna, adding to the relaxation and charm of our stay. We felt safe and surrounded by kindness from the helpful staff. Seeing the Northern lights was the perfect icing on the cake. Cons: All was good! 👍.

The location of this resort was absolutely stunning, nestled beside a peaceful river with beautiful walking trails right outside our cabin. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the sauna was a wonderful bonus for relaxation. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff, particularly Rita and Paulina, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome, providing exceptional service. The magical tours, including playing with huskies and reindeer, as well as witnessing the Northern Lights, made our stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this resort for its breathtaking setting, friendly staff, and incredible experiences.
While the setting and amenities were exceptional, the lack of public transportation or readily available taxis to nearby villages was a slight inconvenience. Additionally, the restaurant prices were quite high and the limited food options may not have catered to everyone's preferences.

Amazing place! My family loved the nature all around. Even it was very cold outside, inside the apartment was always warm. the highlight for our kids was the double shower and the sauna. :) For me and my husband - the fireplace. the apartment is very cozy and well designed. the kitchen is a bit small, but it was possible to cook easy meals for 4 people. There were enough plates, glasses, and pans. There is a dishwasher and an oven. the location was perfect, secluded and surrounded by beautiful wilderness. We felt safe and enjoyed the peace and tranquility.
The communication with the staff was a bit confusing and they were not always available when we needed assistance. We had some issues with the check-out time and the kitchen being closed on certain days.

The location in the middle of the forest was sick, surrounded by nature and super peaceful. We had a blast going hiking and exploring the beautiful landscape. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed, with a comfy bed to crash on after all the adventure!
The only thing missing for us young party animals was a chill hangout spot or a game room at the resort. It would have been dope to have a place to kick back, play some games, and have some fun with our friends during the evenings.
